Dr. Azuka Ezeike is a Consultant Obstetrician–Gynaecologist and Public Health Scientist. She holds Fellowships of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as a Master of Science in Public Health from the National Open University of Nigeria. She has certifications in Leadership and Management in Health, Project Management in Global Health, and Epidemiology in Global Health from the University of Washington. She has served as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the National Hospital Abuja and St. Jude Women's Clinic, Abuja. She currently serves as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nizamiye Hospital, Abuja. She is the Founder and Team Lead of D-ACE Medical Consulting and Communications, a medical communications start-up based in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to improving global health through medical communications and public health solutions. Dr. Azuka also serves as a medical writer and reviewer with Dateline Health Africa (USA), and is a member of the WHO Fides Network, a global community of health influencers supported by the World Health Organization. She has co-authored 10 peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals, authored over 50 patient and public education articles, and reviewed more than 170 health articles. She has also trained over 100 health professionals in medical communications. Her key professional interests include women’s health, medical communication, health systems strengthening, health workforce training, and public health.
